The prices and new license models have been published.

The normal dongle license update will cost 40 $US.

New license models that do not need a dongle are being introduced. These are time-limited and bound to the hardware (they cannot be transporeted to another system).

Gorshkov, my current computer can run the game on mostly high marks judging by the performance post you put up. I'm not worried.

Sky, been following this, getting really excited, especially at the 40$ license

Slow news currently.

It got indicated that there is a simple "campaign" option implemented now, it combines several preset missions in a linear fashion through which the player progresses in kind of an event tree. They call it "operations".

Main Post # 1, at the end: vehicle list.

There are five Leopard-1s:

Leopard-1A2
Leopard-1V
Leopard-1A5GE
Leopard-1A5DK
Leopard-AS1

The first two are apparently not crewable. The latter two are. 1A5DK has a 3D interior: screenshots here:

http://www.steelbeasts.com/sbforums/...Leopard_1A5-DK.

I do not know about the 1A5 German, it is newly arriving. Maybe crewable, since it is so close to the Danish version.

I picked up a post saying that the release has been delayed until Octobre. Found no official confirmation, though.

If it's true, than it is delaying in pure and original SBP delayed-release-tradition.

Skybird 07-25-13 06:56 PM

They cleared it up a bit. They are working on bug squashing and say they are short to the end of that now. They then will see if certain more advanced particle effects could be implemented within just a couple of weeks. If it is more complicated and time consuming, then they will release the bug-squashed version "as is" without these effects, and probably soon, and these effects will be part of a later update. If they calculate the time needed for implementation to be limited, they will delay by those few weeks and then release it all in one pack, with these effects.

The words to note are "couple ofl weeks". So yes, it could become October or so indeed.

Really? This patch (sometimes called "an upgrade") costs about a half of price of original game. :haha:

First SBP-3.0 video, still nothing spectacular, illustrating just the new weather control options, and the transition of light conditions at different time sof the day, and weather.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?featur...&v=tOqDIEjcMzs

Like other weather-related details in 3.0 mentioned before, this for the most currently is cosmetic only, a first implementation of a new feature. Will be adressed in more detail in the future.
