very large recognition manual-Silent hunter 4 V1.5

Somehow I have a very large Recognition manual in Silent hunter 4. It halfway covers up the Torp light buttons. I cannot find anyway to make it smaller. Somehow a Mod did this fix once before. But the computer crashed and I have no idea what it was now. In process of downloading new mods. This is driving me crazy, would like help in solving this, thanks in advance

Check your screen resolution setting in the game first. From the main menu, choose "Options", and then "Graphics Settings". Upper left is a drop-down box for "Game Resolution". You want to match what the native resolution of your monitor is, if you can. Exit from the game and then re-start the game so that the settings take effect. Anytime you change mods, you should clear the Save folder, and when you do that, it will re-set the video.

Thank you so much that was exactly where the problem was. After I saw your response about screen resolution it dawned on me its not a mod which I thought it was, it`s got to be along the lines as your suggestion was. I really appreciate it I would have never gone your direction, it all makes sense now. I keep telling my grand kids don`t get old it`s not worth it. I will be turning 71 in a couple of months, but these sim games keep me young or at least I think so.

Well, there was this song, years ago, like mid-60s paraphrasing the line "I think - therefore I am... I think..." a computer answers him "But of course you are!"... :har:

takes like 32 seconds to get to it...

Glad you're going though! :salute:
