The good thing with these sims game is you can re-play a scenario when a decision you have made was wrong and you loose lots of plane etc.

In the game I have used almost every tomahawks I had, the Iranian have a very well defense-lots of Sam's

When I played the mission the first time I was watching a documentary on Danish TV. It was about some "fake" division in southern England, which has only one purpose-make Hitler believe the invasion would be at Calais

This made me came up with some ideas

1) Fake Tomahawks, act like a real tomahawk, but with no explosive
2) Tomahawks with AI
3) Tomahawks with Flares and chaffs
4) Tomahawks with all above.

Example. I send 40 Tomahawks against a target. 25 of them are fake, the enemy doesn't know which of my 40 Tomahawks is real or fake and each of them can defend them self against Sam's etc

Don't know if it is possible.

You're thinking of tactical decoys, and these do exist.

Look up Sampson, TALD, ITALD and MALD for examples.

I've been playing that scenario as well. It is indeed a very well designed and tough one to beat. I have found, taking the EA-18G's and placing them in an orbit about 100NM from the target area, escorted by additional AMRAAM equipped FA-18's and a few tankers, make for a very well staged jamming package. Additionally, I send a similarly timed HARM package, timed to hit as close to the same time as the Tomahawk. It's a challenge and if there's a way to tie the HARM package with the Tomahawk launches, I haven't figured it out yet.

I also tried the Air Launched Decoys and didn't find them to work as I thought they should, however, it's not to say I employed them entirely correctly. I therefore opted to use the HARMS in lieu of decoys, choosing to destroy rather than overwhelm.

Anyway, as you've clearly stated, it is indeed a very good scenario and challenging to say the least. I have also played with the hypothetical AF-117's too, but they can be overwhelming powerful so I am re-tweaking the modded scenario a bit to balance it out better.

tomahawk's fly too low for that to work. other than as a GPS target from pre-location by ELINT or SatRecon
