New apartment and musings about some pointless things

Just recently moved into a new apartment and am getting settled in. But with that some things have come to my attention.

Most annoying of which is the fact that every god damned apartment building has this type of resident, the insane re-decorator with an addiction to drilling random holes into his/her walls. The one in this building made him/herself known to me an hour ago, when I was trying to get some sleep to be rested for my night shift. The drilling is still going strong, and I salute him for his stamina, but for ****s sake, how can he have any walls left because my next door neighbour told me that the guy has been at it for more than a year, is he constantly building new walls and drilling them to pieces? Or am I in the twilight zone where he finds himself with walls appearing from nowhere and he has to drill through them to go to the shops? What is this madness?

On a more cheerful note my apartment mates cat has apparently decided to move into my room so you can expect cat pictures in the next week. For now my rant ends, but there will be more. :salute:

Yep, me too. Sometimes it seems like the drilling is coming from several walls at once. Definate twilight zone!
