Double Res 1024x512 Kriegsflagge.
Still finding my way around the site, so have yet to find where to upload/share my work.
But here's a snap of a double-resolution 1024x512 Kriegsflagge, I made this from high res photos of an actual war ensign. It has a little more work on the alpha channel, but I've tried to make it subtle; the red is ever so slightly transparent, along with some small holes found on the actual flag, you can even make out the yellow reinforcement stitching. I need to re-add in the makers text (I have copies of that too). I find that where it's marginally transparent that it takes on a little of it's surroundings. https://i.imgur.com/1Et1glW.jpg |
Hi oP
You need to send an email to Neil with a link to a location of your work. I personally recommend Mediafire for uploading from your PC. It is easy to use. Mediafire is free and you get 10gb of space + another 2gb if you link facebook or Twitter to your account. Have you had a look at the SH3 flags like this one from the LSH3 mod? Excellent, thank you for the information.
No I haven't seen that, been quite some time since I played SHIII, those textures are quite small and that particular kriegsflagge is incorrect, possibly taken from a post-war reproduction, I already had the real-flags installed from the TWoS megamod, the flags there are good, but I decided to produce an ensign that's twice the size in res. What I've been working on is upping a bunch of textures to a higher resolution, I've noticed that at 1080p some textures don't fair too well on close inspection. I'm looking at upping the moon textures next, though what I need to find out is if I need to alter another file for texture files that feature more than one image, as the moon texture has all phases in one file. |
Very nice flag ouPhrontis, I like the weathered look of it together with the see through effect, keep up your great work
