Hi

someone please explain me, why all this patching needed? Because I recently got myself a SH5, (played a lot SH3 years ago) and Steam version BTW. And everything is working, installed TDW UI mod, also, no probs. Don`t see a need to patch anything more, since version is 1.2.0 originally already.

Some people's games don't work and require a lot of patching to make them work. Others just patch the game so they can fix all those annoying bugs.

Fellow subsimers can chime in as well.

Aktungbby, thanks for greeting hehe. Yeah, really, I joined 2013, when got into SH3 and mods or it was few years before, but anyway. Felt like ready for writing something just now, because all info it`s there in Subsim, no need to ask much now.

Can anyone help me procure the Install shield Cabinet Viewer, or give me the proper sh5.exe file? Trying to get my steam version mod-ded. Reading the steps in the original post, all you need is that sh5.exe file. Seems like a boat-load of work to get it.

Is there an easier way - six years later?
