[FIX] 6 Dials - Simfeeling Mod

When I intregrated this mod into my NYGM V2.6B install, I got the same anomolies that JonZ posted in the REL thread (http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/show...t=89213&page=4) for this excellent mod.

Namely:

http://img131.imageshack.us/img131/9364/bug5iv.jpg

The black rectangle (marked Permanently up) that appears on all views, the shaded background area (marked Missing) not extending to the right and covering behind all the messages and the slider (marked Slider) being way over to the left.

Well, after a bit of work, here is the fixes. BTW, I found another couple of anomolies that I have corrected as best that I can.

You need to edit menu_1024_768.ini and replace the following sections:

1. Slight correction to the Officers group to align the bottom of the tool tip area with the messages one:

; matttm - MODIFIED
[G3F I90]
Name=Tip text
Type=1029;Static text
ItemID=0x3F030007
ParentID=0x3F030000
Pos=4,0,272,22; Original Pos=4,-1,272,22
Font=1
Text=0
TextFlags=0x4

; matttm - MODIFIED
[G3F I91]
Name=Tip bkgr
Type=1030;Static bmp
ItemID=0x3F030009
ParentID=0x3F030000
Pos=0,0,281,22; Original Pos=0,-1,281,22
Materials=1
Display=0;No stretch
Mat 0=data/menu/gui/layout/bkgr.tga
MatFlags=0x1
TexFmt=0x9

2. Make the black rectangle slide with all the other controls:

; matttm - MODIFIED
[G3F I138]
Name=Group msg top bar
Type=1026;Menu group
ItemID=0x3F120000
ParentID=0x3F0C0000; Original ParentID=0x3F000000
Pos=284,-10,404,22; Original Pos=284,130,404,22
Color=0xFFFFFFFF

3. Extend the top black rectangle (that is over the messages area):

; matttm - MODIFIED
[G3F I147]
Name=Bkgr
Type=1030;Static bmp
ItemID=0x3F120001
ParentID=0x3F120000
Pos=-1,0,720,22; Original Pos=-1,0,406,22
Materials=1
Display=2;Linear
Mat 0=data/menu/gui/layout/bkgr.tga
MatFlags=0x1
TexFmt=0x9

4. Correct the position of the Slider:

; FLB Sale's 6 Dials - REPLACED - matttm MODIFIED
[G3F I149]
Name=MsgSlider; FLB Sale`s 6 Anzeigen
Type=1034;Slider
ItemID=0x3F040003
ParentID=0x3F040000
Pos=2,-32,15,50; Pos=2,-32,500,60; Original Pos=2,-32,15,84
Materials=8
Display=0;No stretch
Mat 0=data/menu/gui/layout/m_back.tga
Mat 1=data/menu/gui/layout/m_back.tga
Mat 2=data/menu/gui/layout/m_back.tga
Mat 3=data/menu/gui/layout/m_back.tga
Mat 4=data/menu/gui/layout/m_slide.tga
Mat 5=data/menu/gui/layout/m_slide.tga
Mat 6=data/menu/gui/layout/m_slide.tga
Mat 7=data/menu/gui/layout/m_slide.tga
MatFlags=0x29; Original MatFlags=0x9
TexFmt=0x9
SliderValue=1
SliderNumSteps=1
Vertical=true
StatesColors=0xFFFFFFFF, 0xFFFFFFFF, 0xFFFFFFFF, 0xFFFFFFFF

5. Reposition the down arrow on the slider:

; FLB Sale's 6 Dials - REPLACED - matttm MODIFIED
[G3F I150]
Name=DownBtnSlider; FLB Sale`s 6 Anzeigen
Type=1032;Button
ItemID=0x3F040005
ParentID=0x3F040000
Pos=2,-80,15,10; Pos=2,-90,15,10; Original Pos=2,-116,15,10
Materials=4
Display=0;No stretch
Mat 0=data/menu/gui/layout/m_unsel2.tga
Crop 0=0,0.375,1,1
Mat 1=data/menu/gui/layout/m_unsel2.tga
Crop 1=0,0.375,1,1
Mat 2=data/menu/gui/layout/m_focus2.tga
Crop 2=0,0.375,1,1
Mat 3=data/menu/gui/layout/m_press2.tga
Crop 3=0,0.375,1,1
MatFlags=0x1
TexFmt=0x9
Font=1
TextFlags=0x0
StatesColors=0xB0B0B0FF, 0xFF, 0xFFFFFFFF, 0xFFFFFFFF

6. Finally, extend the shaded area behind the messages:

; FLB Sale's 6 Dials - REPLACED - matttm MODIFIED
[G3F I153]
Name=Bkgr; FLB Sale`s 6 Anzeigen
Type=1031;Stat bmp array
ItemID=0x3F040001
ParentID=0x3F040000
Pos=0,0,720,90; Pos=0,0,406,40; Original Pos=0,0,406,129
Materials=1
Display=0;No stretch
Mat 0=data/menu/gui/layout/bkgr.tga
MatFlags=0x1
TexFmt=0x9
Drag=false
BmpState=1
NeedFocus=true
SelOne=false
IdGroup=0
StatesColors=0xFFFFFFFF, 0xFFFFFFFF, 0xFFFFFFFF, 0xFFFFFFFF

That's it! Not sure if this effects GWX or any other mods, but at least if you get similar problems, the above may help.
