Does IL-2 take advantage of Dual Cores?
I am buying a new computer and I was wondering whether IL-2 takes advantage of dual core processors. I would assume it would but, if it can't, it will play worse than my current computer.

Im not sure..remember the Il2 engine is getting old so I would guess not but it runs great on mine.

IL2 came way before dual cores, so I'd say no.

IL-2 plays so much better with my new computer. Before I could barely play on the highest settings, now I can with no framerate problems. Could be because the RAM and video card I guess... But I do have a new graphical glitch that I didn't have before, unless i didn't notice it. When at a certain angle, sometimes the water sort of turns a wierd color and gets pixelated. |
Having a dual core wouldnt slow it down is just wouldnt help alot!;)
