Crash to desktop Ahnenerbe WideGui + GWX
 

Hello all.

I have GWX Gold installed, together with Thomsen's sound mod. These two work fine together, but I really also want to use the amazing Ahnenerbe's WideGui mod. Even though I just want it for its GUI (the standard SH3 aspect ratio for some bizarre reason has no effect on my desktop -- though it does squish everything in a small window on my laptop).

The problem is that Ahnenerbe's WideGui mod + Thomson's sound mod + GWX crashes when I want to play in career mode. It doesn't when I just play one of the tutorial missions. The crash happens in the loading screen, some half minute or so after the loading bar is full.

I've also discovered that when I load WideGui before GWX -- through JGME-- the main menu is squished into the left hand corner of my screen and the rest is black. Though this dissapears in the loading screen (for career mode), which is followed by a persistent CTD (crash to desktop).

This obviously is enormously frustrating. Any solutions?

Do you have 4GB patch installed?
