Problems with Engage Script

My idea is to make a sub to launch a torpedo at another sub, beyond its firing range.

I´m trying to make the Han to fire a torp at the 688i and then run. The 688i is beyond Han´s 53cm torp range.

I just want to fire a torp at it. I know it won´t make it.

Anyone has any idea of how can it be done?

What you can try is to use a script; Set speed of- Use that to let the enemy sub cavitate, good change your sub start shooting.
But you cannot force it.

what if I want the oposite. The idea behind the mission was taken from the book SSN, writen by Tom Clancy. The 688i is heading towards Hawaii making 26 knots, knowing that a possible Han SSN is operating in the area.
South of Hawaian coast, during a baffle´s clearing procedure, the 688i detects the chinese sub which was probably already tracking the 688i. The Han sub starts to run (25knots) in the course he supposed to go in order to keep pace with the 668i that he just lost contact.
Few minutes later he slows down, and on a desperate measure, pings the water in order to detect, and range the 688i. (I also don´t know how to order the Han sub to use its Active Sonar).
Now the Han sub is aware of the 688i distance (16nm), and he knows that his Yu-3 or SET-53 cannot reach distances beyond 10nm. He then decide to flee the area before the american sub lunches a ADCAP torpedo. So he launches a 53cm torp (could be a snapshot, is it possible to script a snapshot?) against the 688i and start running flank towards US west coast.

That´s the idea.

No, no script to force the Han to launch. :(

... and no script to force to ping
