Grib references

Sometimes I receive coordinate such as BF1822. But my map only shows the first 2 digits such as BF18 or BF19. What do the 2nd two digits stand for?

Each digit divides the map grid yet another nine parts....SH3 only shows first two...

Hi Wolfcat theres a Grid pulldown sheet mod that you use in your game by Tyco
all you do is pull the pulldown sheet overlay and move it left & right until it matches the grid your in eg you in grid AM17 dead in the middle of that grid
north west edge of Rockall Banks Area with the pulldown grid overlay it will tell you your in AM1755

Good job! I was going to recommend that as well, but you beat me to it. I use that one regularly for my home-grown patrol logs.

Hi Wolfcat !

You must download and install this mod :

http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/down...o=file&id=4196

Historically the Kriegsmarine used 2 more digits to be even more precise following the same principle of the 9 squares inside each square.

Try it and you'll see.

Hope it'll help
