Hey Subbies,
So over the holidays since I couldn't focus on this jenga puzzle of mod installments, I decided to do a little research starting with my grandfather. Robert Brookhart retired from the navy as an E-6. He told me once during one of many of his great stories when I would visit...He said "Wanna Know the only 2 jobs I had in the navy?" of course, wide eyed nodding my head I couldn't wait to hear... "Boxing and cooking....in that order kiddo" My grandfather served with the silent service since the beginning of his enlistment til the end, I believe his last boat being a boomer named U.S.S. Jackson...or commonly known as the Stonewall Jackson. Specifics as to technical or action reports about the Jackson I don't know yet...on my list to know....however; during my research I came across alot of other exciting records and information and would like to share with you my findings.....
