AFV sim Control handles

I’ve been having a look at these things of late and I was wondering if anyone has them or have tried them out at some stage? Also, would they work with other simulations and are they better and more ergonomic (easier to use) than a joystick or mouse when aiming? Steel Beasts Pro PE is an amazing simulation and having these would really add to the depth of realism. Although there is a link in the SB resource sticky here is the link to the AFV sim site for convenience.

They cost 1200 dollars per piece. You are aware of that? ;)They say they do not sell to private customers (as was quoted by someone at the stealbeast.com site). It doesn'T matter if you are aware of the above! :lol:I assume they would add a lot of precision, since they work differently than a flight yoke. Although one axis is like that of a car wheel, the other axis makes the grips being turned so that the movement is towards or away from your body - this controls the vertical axis. You understood what I mean? English is limiting here, I realize.

Lol, I was not aware of that, they must be good then! I understand what you mean about the axis, I figured as much. Still, it’s a nice dream to own them so maybe I’ll save up a bit and/or sell some junk on e-bay. Say, you could probably use them in a flight sim if you wanted too?
