Thx's guys for the great supermod, I have one question..The skin mod, below the supermod which is 160+ megs; will that harm the supermod in any way ¿...Wish I could see some screenies befor installing or downloading the skins mod.......CHEERS

ichso 07-16-07 06:41 PM

No, it won't.
But I don't know where screenshots for this mod are, sry.

Just install it, it won't hurt you in any way ;).

Thx's for the fast reply, one last question and I will be out of your hair, does all my online players need to install the same MODs such as the skins mod to play online ?? ....CHEERS

ichso 07-16-07 07:04 PM

No problem ;)

I never played online SH3 but skins should be of no matter. Would be very unlogical otherwise.

But this is no general rule. I don't know whether all player must have the same mods installed if those mess with the gameplay though.
Maybe it doesn't matter there too because the gamesettings are defined by the host and every connecting player will use those so that mods can't do any damage there either but I'm not sure about this last point.
Perhaps you should just try

Does GWX have FW 200 Condor in the campaign? Because i havent seen any in operating from Norway or France.

bigboywooly 07-16-07 11:36 PM

Yes the Kondor is in there

Zero Niner 07-17-07 01:26 AM

A flight of 5 FW-200s flew over Wilhelmshaven as I pulled out of port yesterday for my next patrol (AN12! ) Jun 1940.

As a general rule, it is advised that all MP's have EXACTLY the same set of core files. For this reason, many of us have two installs, one basic & default install for MP & a fully modded one for our own use.

You can play MP with no problems with default installs of Stock, GWX, NYGM, WAC etc etc.

Now, here's the crunch! You can use graphic mods, example sub skins & ship skins ONLY if they are texture mods only, NOT in a DAT format. With this in mind, if you have these added to you game then you will be the only one to see them. If your MP friends have different versions installed, then they will see their own versions.

Weird! If you have a skin for the VIIC, lets say Skin1 & your friend has Skin2, when you look at the VIIC in MP you will see Skin1 but your friend will see Skin2.

Haha, all in all it's best not to try to complicate matters in MP and just keep everything as a default install.;)

shame no-one has figured out how to use emblems in mp yet apart from
1) make it apart of your skin.
2) run a quick campagn choose emblem then quit and goto mp without closing down the game

Perhaps. You will definitely see Ju87, particularly in English Channel (two of them saved my life there, sinking an attacking destroyer) during the Battle of Britain; also Ju88 from North Sea south to Channel and around to western England (where two almost stole a C2 cargo kill from me).
Try shadowing convoys and reporting them .... best way to see Luftwaffe (and perhaps Fw200) at sea, if the convoy is within airbase range.

Like Dan said, skins are ok as long as they are in the .tga format, not repacked to the .DAT files. Also, AFAIK, sound mods are ok to use. Oh and some other graphics mods, like new menu BG image (keep in mind, the 1024_768_menu.ini or soemthing like that, should remain the same as everyone else playing).

Or you could do what jimbuna did 2 nights ago whilst playing/hosting a MP with Dan, Penelope_Grey and Dowly........namely, choosing a mission from from 1.03 whilst loading the next version :yep: .....result.....ctd :damn:
