pls Help noob editing torpedo speed.

Hi all, newbie here.

I have been messing arround with editing things. I figure out how to change submarines settings on the german side, but having trouble with torpedos.

Using the silent 3editor i altered speed values for torps (Torpedo.sim), but the changes wont show up in game. speed is the same as default. Am i editing the wrong file? or do i have to edit something else?

Using sh4 u-boat add on

pls help.

Also could some1 direct me to a tutorial on how to add new subs, torps and such to the campains.

ps: sry for english...not my native language.

Could be wrong, but I would assume the info for the torpedos in the game just came from a text string, and not the torpedo.sim file meaning your changes went through they just didn't display properly.

ok. so what file do i have to change to edit speed?

And what about what does the .sim file do?

Btw. Is there any info on how the files connect to each other?....i mean what the .sim's is for and the .zonīs etc. Am trying to start "modding" and would like to know how the game works.

Thanks in advance
