hi all,
I just have a small question regarding the LSH3, In the HSIE options selector there is a fix for internal torpedo reload where the crew can't perform reload when the uboat is surfaced or in a storm, I activated this but the crew always reload the torpedo, even when surfaced/in a storm, something I am missing? Also I did activate the HSIE options using JSGME, so the the fixes mod as a whole should be enabled. |
welcome aboard!

Thanks all for the welcome.
THEBERBSTER, it seems to work but only in rough sea/stormy weather, still loads while in calm weather and surfaced, maybe I misunderstood the manual. if its ok I have some other questions: - I have ship auto identification on, how do I make the identified ship appear automatically in the recognition book without having to flip through all the ships? - How do I stop accurate ship markers from randomly popping up on the map? they make finding enemy ships too easy, almost effortless. - The bunker-start mini mod doesn't seem to work, I still start the mission in the same spot, even tho Kiel has a uboat-bunker. - and last how do I stop the cheering band people at the port? they are annoying :hmmm: Thanks again. |

Reloading needs to be done at 25 metres minimum depth before the crew will respond to internal loading in bad weather. Make sure as this is important that you have an Officer in the Bow or Stern tubes when reloading is taking place. I find there is no point in trying to attack, maintain depth, fire torpedoes in 15m/s wind speeds as the torpedoes always run deep. Quote:

Another option is to use the GUI OLC Widescreen mod, IIRC this removes the map contacts and you just see a black dot or similar moving on the map and does not show the direction of travel or whether it is friend or foe. Quote:
You need to go to SH3 Commander and Career Options. Make sure the box "Start patrols at sea" is not ticked. Quote:

Hi V
Open the first folder showing Commander. You must always start your game from the SH3cmdr exe It is here that you setup your career and name your Captain. The easiest way to do this is to right click on it and send it to your task bar. Everything you need to know about the basics of LSH3 is in my tutorials. A bunker start means you start from a dock side or bunker. With LSH3 you cannot start at sea you will always have to go through a lock on your outbound journey. As far as the map situation it is either map contacts on or off. Peter https://s8.postimg.cc/aubnczcrp/lsh3...oad_banner.gif |
Thanks for your help.

3rd party mod maybe? |
Hi V
Why don't you make the game a bit more challenging then? Changing the setting in the HSIE will make the game more difficult. Making game play setting changes in SH3Commander for example in Model effects selecting Malfunctions + Sabotage will provide difficulties for you. Peter |
