:DL Thank you very much  W_clear :salute: I think this 4.0 is the BEST version of you environmental Mod, thank you a Lot :salute:

Nice :woot:

And still this new version of the mod has the tendency to crash, because it also includes again a broken ClimateZones.tga with a lot of false red values which cause a crash to desktop.
The use of the histogram functions showing it. Alot of pixels with wrong red-values are counted. http://s10.directupload.net/images/101010/u7myphik.png In the histogram there should be visible only eight bars of the red values Color00 Color40 Color60 Color80 Color100 Color120 Color160 Color200 Why does the modder did over and over again the same mistake? Enough information about the error with the red values are here in this thread. But probably he is not willing to learn.:damn: |
Looks like the only way is to remove those 2 files again.
|
Why not creating the zones in indexed color mode rather than RGB mode ?
Fixing the indexed colors to red 0, 40, 60, 80, ... switching anti-alias off and such false red values not happen any more ;) |

I spend some times to hunt and suppress all these illegal red values. You can download the corrected "ClimateZones.tga" file on my site here: http://www.acsoft.ch/tmp/ClimateZones.zip I just finished to test with this new file and apparently it work. But I am not a good tester for that, because I was lucky enough to not encounter this CTD since now. Probably, those of you, who detected this problem, should have a save & method to test if my new "ClimateZones.tga" definitively solve the problem. Let us know ! ACS |
Hiya,
I have been having CTD's Just had another in the med while RTB'ing Have to do something for a while but will try your fix in a bit W-clear is a busy guy, so go easy on him, most likely he's busy in RL but will post soon enough, and don't forget a single guy can test forever and a day and find no CTD, whereas many people can help pinpoint a problem Thanks All |
I am forced to take this mod off. Experienced several CTDs within an hour, even when taking off the 2 files. Pity because it is a great mod otherwise.
|
I think some of the frustration you are seeing here on this thread is just a result of us all realising what an AMAZINGLY good mod this is. It makes our game (that we all love) look about 3 times better than stock.
I am in awe of it really...........but just sad I cant use it due to CTDs. :) W clear u rock...hang in there! |
I played with the 23.20 to 01.30, departures was not playing with the east coast of England is the first mission, is happy:woot: that the elephant. And what did just put it http://www.acsoft.ch/tmp/ClimateZones.zip. I appreciate the work done W_clear.:yeah: Thank Shiplord, for ClimateZones.:yeah: So what I advise.:rock::rock:
And tems that were in version 3.7, 3.8, 3.9, flew in about 5 - 10 minutes. I'll go test the next. Quote:

Guys, are-you reading carefully the new messages, when you check this thread, or are my messages transparent, or my English so bad ?!? :hmmm: I mean, I spend hours for you, in order to try to solve your CTD problem by editing & publishing a new "ClimateZones.tga" and apparently, nobody seem to react on this, except "SashaKA001" who mention my work in his last message, but I don't understand what he mean about it. What is sure, "SashaKA001" appreciate the work of "W_clear", but has nothing to say about my own work. :06: "DavyJonesFootlocker", before to remove this mod, why don't you try to use my corrected "ClimateZones.tga", maybe it will solve your problem ?!? :damn: ?!?
