There's a brilliant episode of "Peep Show" where Mark, on a date with Sophie thinks it would be a good idea to show her Das Boot. She is obviously not interested in the film. About two hours through this becomes apparent to Mark when she suddenly exclaims "Oh! They're on a submarine!"

Most women don't like war movies. Not enough excitement in them for women because they're all into all that mushy romance stuff that makes men want to run to the closest toilet to vomit.

Trust your girlfriend/wife to pick a good movie and she comes back with "Magic Mike"... She is the kind of selfish, self centered, spoiled brat that is common to the upper classes in America.
