Hi, Fubar!
Ahnenerbe... No, unfortunately, he still didn't contact.
News... German national team unfairly lost. I am very upset.
At present I try to return to work on U-boats. Summer, heat, mass of temptations..)

kurfürst 07-13-16 12:34 PM

Hi Alex,

send over some of your summer and heat! Summer here in Germany is as frustrating as the European Football Championship was for us! But, we have broken the spell against Italy!

Looking forward for things to come out of your shipyard!

Wise 07-14-16 12:26 AM

Hi, Arnd!
I will send to Germany the cargoship with good weather. Together with an escort of submarines. Expect soon!))
You broke spell of Italy, but your spell were broken by France. However, her helped the referee.

Hi, everybody.
The help is required.

Turm 3 has appeared in May, 1943.
Question: when installation of armored plates has begun?
It is important for work.

ivanov.ruslan 08-04-16 02:44 PM

Look here ,page 44 http://amp.rokket.biz/docs/vii_modifications.pdf

Wise 08-04-16 03:12 PM

Thanks, I have this book. Unfortunately, there is no information on start date of use of armored plates.

kurfürst 08-05-16 05:14 AM

Horrido Wise,

in the book "Vom Original zum Modell: Uboottyp VII C" it says:
"installation of front- and side armour on conning tower", dated 4.6.1943

I hope this helps!

Good luck with your work!

Kurfürst

ivanov.ruslan 08-05-16 08:45 AM

Yes ,and cited from me book available the same date

But to
Quote:

The excessive weight of the boxes reduced the stability of boats in high seas. As a result an order to remove the boxes was placed on the 30 thOctober 1943. However, some boats did retain the boxes long after the order was issued.
How long is not clear...

Alex, especially for the project, some of the documents had been translated into the native language. Carefully read again "Перевод Uboottyp VIIC Vom Original Zum Modell.docx".
I told you - verify sometimes reference, documents updated.

Best regards.

Fubar

:o
Не пойму очем речь... изображенное на снимке больше напоминает антирадарное покрытие.

P.S.
I did not wanted to interfere in your interesting conversation ... but I see that your confusion persists.

Wise 08-07-16 12:44 AM

@ kurfürst
Hi, Arnd! Thanks, buddy, I hope, it what is necessary.

@ Sphere
We will talk to you in other place and at other level.

@Fubar2Niner
Unfortunately, I have for you no good news. Alexander still doesn't contact. We will hope that he's fine and through some time he after all will appear.

@ Anvart
Какие люди.. сюрприз, однако.) Отчего ж не вмешаться, коль народ заблуждается.:D Напоминает или так и есть? Аргументы будут?

I did not claim that it is an armored plate (therefore, on the picture I have delivered a question mark). And very much can be that this anti-radar covering. Then, how looks the armored plate (not boxes)? Any convincing data, photo, etc.

Jimbuna 08-07-16 05:38 AM

Can we maintain the norm here and post in the English language please?

This will allow everyone to better understand what is being written.

TIA

Wise 08-07-16 07:13 AM

Excuse us, Jimbuna. I very badly understand English, therefore, some, especially difficult phrases, Anvart is forced to write in Russian.))

Jimbuna 08-07-16 09:43 AM

I appreciate the situation but felt the need to comment after being notified in a post report.

In fairness to everyone it might be better if an English translation was posted after the Russian text perhaps?
