When you are in port before a mission and do the loadout for your sub.
When a new torpedo is aviable they use to show up in 1-4 of them. If you load/swap thos and then go to another page like aviable subs and then back to the loadout/torpedoe screen there is a new stock/set of torpedos for you to swap/change.

You can click back and forth between the screens untill you fully loaded up your sub whit the desired torpedos.

Vikinger.

My favourite (for those that dont know it):

Shift + F2 while inside the sub lets you roam around just like free cam outside. (Just dont wander to far into the darkness, as this might cause CTDs.

Thanks for the tips on periscopes, all new to me!

Same here. Fully load the sub whit accustic Eel`s and then its hunting time :D

Spread all Eel`s on a convoy, reload and fire the rest. then dive and wait to hear all impact. Then wait quite long time untill the rest of the conoy have gone out of sensor range and surface and just pick a target whit the deck gun. It use to be about 4-8 ships that is dismantled whit no propeller. :D

when starting a new career and choosing officers. pick the guy with 3 skills at 500 renown. close the window and exit your profile then return and suprise suprise another officer with 3 skills at 500 renown is available.
remember to click on the map screen so your profile is saved in the "before mission" state.

I knew about that one, never did it though. And I wouldn't call it cheating so much as having a grade-A dogrobber assigned to your boat. :arrgh!:

You can do this from any screen or compartment. No need to rush from the Map view back to the scope view..

AVGWarhawk 01-05-07 04:53 PM

@Russ, Yes, you can hit Ctrl and the down or up page while jumping to other compartments and it will still do what you asked it.

Brag 01-05-07 06:20 PM

In binoc, UZO or periscope view press = to turn sub on the course indicated on whatever instrumrnt you're using.:smug:

BTW, seems got all my GWX problems solved by installing a 512mb video card. Continuing on patrol!

JScones 01-05-07 08:17 PM

Right-click a compartment to send the crew to rest. My fave one. ;)

Yeah, I learned a few that's why I started this thread. In fact, I learned three I use all the time now.

Ctrl and page up or down for scope
Left click compartment and right click the crewman to move him there
Right click compartment to move all to rest.
