Having my tea so there.

Jimbuna 02-27-18 01:40 PM

Far too much snow and freezing winds today so I switched on the Virgin Tivo box and watched Kong Skull Island then last nights episode of the Martin Lewis Money show.

STEED 02-28-18 08:03 AM

The snow has landed and there could be more on the way. :o

As for me I'm watching the weather forecasts, not looking good for my stint at work. May need four jumpers. :hmmm:

Could do with a snow blower right now.

I got a new hard plastic tractor style seat for my kayak. It's made an incredible difference from the old piece of foam that used to be in there and provides much better control. That, and before I couldn't paddle a mile before my legs would go numb. Now with the new seat I can get out of the boat without falling out and laying on the beach waiting for the feeling in my legs to come back.

Having ones buttocks fit nicely snug in the seat is helpful when edging.

Not sure whether to laugh or cry but my home town with a population somewhere in the region of 65,000 is, like the rest of the UK currently experiencing harsher than normal winter weather conditions and this is what the local press are reporting:
Quote:

Priority routes which cover 311km of carriageway have been treated with rock salt and ploughing has been undertaken and the council’s full gritting fleet of four gritting wagons and a towable gritter are out tackling the snow.
:nope:

I just wouldn't cut it as a lucid dreamer... I believe the knack is to first recognise that you are dreaming, but I just can't seem to recognise the clues. Last night I was riding a cardboard bicycle in the rain, and my only thought was to pedal as fast as I could before my bike went soggy and disintegrated... it just didn't strike me as odd that I was on a bloody cardboard bicycle.
