It's a matter of taste. Even if I would make mine smaller I would like it better. That shouldn't be an absolute statement.

Lovely work chaps, just lovely!

But I got a small question over here *raises a flag*

In stock SH3 there was a damn ugly orange arrow showing where and at what direction your sub was when it was submerged, from the free-look view ofcourse.
Now I can understand why you removed it since it looked like hell and destroyed the realism but I just cant play without it, going mad when I cant find my uboat :damn:
so is there a way so that I can add it back easily?

Thanks for some help.

Cant remember the name of the .tga file that had it, but here's what I do. When you press F12 to go to the external camera, the camera is right above your sub, so I just go straight down and voila. ;)

Download from my sig 'Umarktga'

since you're adding so many more ways for our u-boats to get sent to the bottom -- enemy escorts, planes, subs even -- any chance you'll balance those additions out? i'm thinking radar decoys, dc's that impair sonar... it's hard enough to make it to 1945 as it is. :dead:

Just like it was in RL for the crews.....if it's not to your liking, you always have stock to revert back to or a previous version of GWX :hmm:

danlisa 07-22-07 03:00 PM

BTW using the UMark.tga will show all AI submerged subs in GWX.

Cool!

Jimbuna 07-22-07 03:29 PM

No prob in discovering the wolfpacks then ;)
