Hi Jeff.

Got a problem today while exporting the "guns_radars_01.GR2". The first to objekts (6in_MkXXII_double_turret_GB - and - 6in_MkXXII_double_barrels_GB) run propper, but then the programm aborts. Next object would have been "8in_Trento/Zara_turret_IT". Don't know why (purhaps the "slash" in the label?); followed your instruction to change the header by HexEditor as ever.

Using your Exporter "Special_Thingy" and the older one "UI_Added". Same results.

Over all, it is no problem for me - the guns in SH5 are mostly all the same guns you can find in SH3 and SH4. The gun i want to have, i've found in SH4 (14 inch double US turret and barrels).

HEUREKA Jeff,

it was the "Slash" in the label. I've changed all "Slash" in all labels of 8in_Trento/Zara_* into 8in_Trento_Zara_* by replacing HEX <2F> with HEX <5F> (only in between the "label"). And now it works!!! Fine extraction of all objects!!!

It is unbelievable, that Ubisoft's programmers use "special characters" for their stupid labels, although they are reserved for the machine. .

On the other side: that's why "SilentHunter" is still a challenging game - for player and modder .

That problem has been solved with the newest fixes.
In the next few days I'll be adding:
1. the ability to set your export path,
2. the ability to set your texture path,
3. the ability to set your granny2.dll path,
4. the ability to add extensions to the Exported folders.

Jeff, you are doing very well.

I hope that someone will know who made all that great job. I can tell my people all of that stuff - they didn't understand it because they never play a SUBSIM game.

So - i hope that sometimes the real creators will be recognised by all those user here and everywhere,.
