Description
This mod for a stock SH4 version 1.5 game, will create larger Telegraph, Compass, and Depth HUD dials for both American and German side of play. The Dials used have been changed from the stock game and enhanced. When you mouse over a specific dial, the image will increase in size again for easier viewing. It is JSGME compatible. There are two separate mods included in the "main" download folder. One called "Magnified HUD Dials for v1.5_Large", the other "Magnified HUD Dials for v1.5_Medium". The difference between them is in the size the dials will be displayed. Choose the mod that looks the best for your game setup. Please read the "README" for installation, and the "how to" for merging with other conflicting mods. Credit to Jimimadrid for making the dials that I enhanced and enlarged. Thank you Jose! TheBeast 07-09-10 at 04:21 PM	Thank you for this MOD. I have a problem. My menu_1024_768.ini contains several MODs and simply replacing it with yours really is not a option. Could you document the changes you did to the menu_1024_768.ini file so people are able to manually MOD thier existing menu_1024_768.ini file merging this MOD with out losing already existing changes.
CapnScurvy 07-14-10 at 02:14 PM	For those wishing to manually manipulate your own menu_1024_768.ini file I inclosed a .txt document within the main folder named "Merging Hud Dial Changes" when I released the mod. The text should help in giving you the "how-to" to do just what you ask "TheBeast". In general, copy/save your existing menu_1024_768.ini file then replace the specific entries with the ones found in the text file. You will also find 9 images that must be copy and pasted within the game: One in the Data/Menu/Gui/Layout folder Four each in the Data/Menu/Skins/American(German)/Gui/Layout folders
