Thread Ground rules:

Concerns all captains, crewmen, civilians, and Dinsdale:
When commenting an image, do not re-post the image in your post! It clutters up the thread. Describe the picture instead or refer to post number or poster's name.
Do not post huge images. Images should go beyond about 1024x768 in size.I commented in the Dev Interview thread (http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=99748) about the obesity of the officer in the first interior shot. Well, heh, everything has a reason:

I can imagine SH4 Commander:

"Captain, Petty Officer Bernard has been eaten. You will have to replace him when Silent Hunter 4 loads and you return to port."

I cast a vote a long time ago for ensign Parker from McHale's Navy(the original, played by Tim Conway).

Navy people never use first names.

Oh, Torpy, you've done it again!:rotfl:

p.s. I can live with Bernie, but it's kind of derivative.

What about McDiver? James McDiver?

That would be the american counter-argument to the european prototype of James Bond + McGiver (or McGayver...???)

Ahoy, mosel!
