View Full Version : Strange problem with GW mod.

Anyone else have the following problem?

I was sailing along fat dumb and happy and came upon a tanker. In Career Mode. I came to a stop and decided to use my deck gun for a little while. I was at a full stop. I then commanded to go to ahead 1/3 and got a message " can not comply". I had a full engine room with the green bar 3/4's the way full. I had an officer in it as well. I took all the guys out and put them back in, no help. I then hit the silent running key then came back off it and then the engine room complied. This has happend more than once.
I was also playing a MP match on Sat. started the match and could not move at all. Every time I gave a speed command, I kept getting the message "can not comply" Engine room was full and no matter what I tried I could not get underway? I clicked the surface cruise mode and all sorts of other things and never could get underway. That was the first time it happened but I didn't hit the silent running key, since tha was the first time.....Not sure if it would have fixed it then or not.
Any Ideas? Anyone ever have this problem? Just currious....

Well, I wondered about that, but kind of dismissed it due to it happening in MP right at the start of the round. Not sure what caused it. But in single player, as soon as I hit the silent running and back off I was able to go again....Strange...I will attempt to get on another MP and see what happens.
Thanks for the link, I will add it to it and see if that fixes it. Thanks again.....
