IS there some one hosting a lan i can go on iam gmt uk :up: :up: :up: i have the gw super mod

Hi there the are a few of us who play GW online but we play via ubi using the multiplayer option in game. just ask in the Greywovles Mod thread above. who is up for a game and when.


PS we have had some problems with GW online playing but are in the process of sorting that out. so it is best if you want to play online with GW to make a clean install of GW with no other mods added on.:up:

I play online with some friends, and we use Hamachi which creates a VPN for all os uf, thus the game sees all the players as being part of the same lan. So...we all start hamachi, join the same room, one of us creates a server, and the others join the game on lan, even if we actually play on the net. We all use GW. If we don't, the game crashes. Either we all play on vanilla, or GW....otherwise it doesn't work. If any of you is interested in joining us, my YM is kruger_blue

Hey there, I am also in the U.K. and would be happy to join you for some multiplayer action. I usually go online (at ubisoft.com) from 16:00 GMT, look out for a server called Greywolves and the password is Moby.

If you're gonna host you'd better have a password to avoid all the goofballs. If you see another server on there called Greywolves, the password is Moby.

See you at 17:00 GMT.

Well unfortunately it didn't work. All is not lost though, there is a guy called MobyGrape that hosts and I can't join him online either, but you probably will be able to. His password is also Moby. Goodluck.

I'm hoping when GWX comes out that these issues will be resolved and we'll have one big, happy online community.

Sorry to hear you had no luck wildchild. As The General says MobyGrape that hosts a GW online game this is usualy on weekends starting on a friday and then again on saturday and sunday nights. If iam correct he lives in Hawaii so the games do not usualy begin till 21.00 GMT due to the time differnce. I have played with Moby online and we have a compatable install it seems. Hope it works for you.:up:

General totaly agree with what you said reffence the GW online issues being sorted by GWX. Ive got my fingers crossed;) It seems to me we could have a enough for a nice wolfpack when the issues are sorted.

The GWX team are working there asses off to get this mod out, you can bet your bottom dollar on that. They say it will be ready when its ready and that is fine by me. So all we can do is be patiant and it will arrive :up:
Not to sure if there are any plans for a SH4 version of GW but you can be sure that some of the great modders and people of this comuinity will come up with something that will blow are minds away.
But till it does arrive we have many more ships to sink with the current GW.:arrgh!:

MY BROTHER HAS ACOPY OF SH3 AND WE HAVE TRIED TO UPDATE IT TO THE 1.4b BUT IT WONT WORK HE HAS HAD THE GAME WHEN IT 1ST CAME OUT HE WANTS TO TURN TO THE GW SIDE DO YOU THINK YOU CAN HELP...:hmm: :hmm: :hmm: .....OVER

SO wot do you think it cud be try all up date's he's now sed he is getting a new copy of it he think's it mite be cos it is such an old copy :up: :up:

Does he have a unmodded game of SH3 ie just SH3 installed on the computer?
If he is runing any mods while trying to install the 1.4 patch this could be the reason for this not working.
If this is not the case what error report is he getting each time he trys to install the 1.4 patch?:up:
