Hey subsim fans.
I am a huge fan of submarine warfare and history all around. One of the things I missed in the Silent Hunter series was the periscopes. I was impressed in Silent Hunter III that the dev team actually put in a conning tower with the attack periscope. However; I was extremely dissappointed with the lack of animation of the scopes.
My hope for Silent Hunter IV is they put in a conning tower and have the scopes in the conning tower (as in Run Silent Run Deep and Torpedo Run) It would also be nice to see a crewman man the periscope "pickle" and you could raise it up a bit to get bearings then say something like "up a foot" and he would raise it up.
Just my wish for the wishlist.
