Internet connection probs on multiplayer

Hi, I'm based in the UK and I have both Orange (2mb) and Tascali (1Mb) ADSL broadband connections. The problem with these is that at weekends and evenings they disconnect after about 25 minutes when I'm in a multiplayer game which means I immedaiately drop out of the game and cannot rejoin unless everyone re-starts from scratch. Has anyone got any ideas on what I can do about this? I wish I had access to cable but it's not avilable where I live. Any advice would be gratefully recieved!

Can't say ive ever used ADSl but is your modem connected to your PC via USB ?
If so you could try using a network cable instead. Ive heard of USB connections being a bit on the unstable side

If you are not using voice you might try dial-up.
