Them seem quite complex for a game... unless we are talking about IUF right! :arrgh!:

Yes the 5000 models (include this one) can be bought on 9 CDs for $700 from DeEspona!

every model comes in four versions (3DSMax format):
HIGH: 203247 poly
MEDIUM: 108454 poly
LOW: 15863 poly
V.LOW: 782 poly

additional you need to convert the models into *.OBJ format and then import them into SHIII with the community tools.

Yes, I just checked the info in the website.

$700 is a little salted for my budget. :(

And I have just a bunch of renders. :-?

But I can imagine these ships in SHIII, they would look gorgeous. :sunny:

By the way, I appreciate your answer. Thank you.

No they would not if they are imported as they are. Most of the models have insufficient UV mapping and texturing for the SH3 engine with limited capabilities.

Exceptions are the models with the highest polycount which have even small details in 3D (like portholes, etc.) so that exstensive texturing is not required. But such a high polycount is way to much for the SH3 engine.

Here is how the Italian MS boat, based on this E-boat model imported to SH3, looks like. Needs some work with UV re-mapping.
