Help with saved games Please!

Hi sorry if this is repost...have owned silent hunter 2 since it came out but gave up on it. Have just reinstalled and downloaded the 1.4 patch all is great until i go to load up a saved game. Now this is wierd the game DOESN'T CTD it just plasy for a few seconds and then i'm told that i am abandoning my career...or that my sub is lost. Have tried to save when i know i am safe and same happens. Again sorry if this has a blatantly obvious answer, or if a repost but please help, cheers

You're trying to load a SH2 saved game in SH3?!

A patch from 1.2 probably is not compatible with 1.4

You probably just need to start over.

Hi sorry my bad i am using sh3 and the game is a fresh start, the saves back at base work fine, but not the ones mid mission, are there any mods out there that could affect this, thanks for any more help
