Tried your Precious cargo and it is a waste of my time, Lets see 4 Destorys, slow torps, air defense, no decoys, and some how they detect you while at slow speed, silent running and 25 meters deep and 2200 meters away,
yep lots of fun and you want us to sink half the navy. Would be nice if you made a mission that was at least fun and maybe able to win.
Don't bother saying I don't know how to play, I am fairly good and have beaten every mission that came with the game and most of the one's I have downloaded. :nope:

How do you want me to respond, I made the mission as is. I did it because I like to waste my time for others. Now if "some" others do not like it or feel that the mission is imbalanced, I will be glad to change the rating to "insane". First, let us see how other people find the Precious Cargo. You must understand that I am the only person who tested these missions, so it is a bit hard to verify the difficulty level, as I know exactly where and when things will come up.
Sorry, if you feel that I wasted your time.

I actually enjoyed Precious Cargo, but I found it quite annoying having no decoys and I still hav'nt worked out how I got detected at 33 meters on silent running by a crummy armed trawler.

…I found it quite annoying having no decoys.
That is why a put a date and time under each downloadable mission, so you can have an idea over what type of equipment a sub might have. I think the decoys appeared in 43. I will soon get to those years. The bundle of mission I have to offer will only grow, and will cover the entire war timeline. ;)

I have tested once more the Precious Cargo and I cannot figure out how you guys get detected and I don't. I mean yes, I can get detected, but if I do it intentionally. I even get to finish the mission without getting detected.
The sub axis relative to the warship could influence the ping, adding the low depth and there you go a high detection risk. The waves of the pings are clearer in shallow waters, but I am not 100% sure if this game really replicates that, but it feels like it.
I actually enjoyed Precious Cargo…
Thank you, it cheers me up.

Well I almost finished your Precious Cargo mission. In fact I thought I probably was going to win.
Let’s see, I sunk the Victory Carrier, 2 Troop transports,
75000 tons of Merchants for a Total of 13 Ships.
But I lose because I can’t get away from 9-10 Destroyers that seem to have unlimited
Amounts of Depth charges, detect me from 2000 Meters while I am in Silent running at 50 meters. I almost forgot, planes also dropping Depth Charges. I get no Decoys so I guess you decided not to build in fairness for the player.
Why you made a mission that’s probably not beatable is beyond me. I thought maybe I was a little harsh saying before it was a waste of time but after sinking just about everything that was afloat and then have all those destroyers come after me, yea, it was a waste of my time.
If you don’t think it is as you say “imbalanced” what more could you throw at the player?
