Mission Request

Is there any chance someone can make a simple set of DD test missions.

I need to test each DD bahaviour throughout the war so as to get best sensor settings in game.

I am hoping it would take you guys and girls two minutes to build as I have never read the mission editor stuff yet.

What exactly do you need?
locations, type boat, number escorts, etc ?
Shouldn't be too hard to put something simple together for you.

I'm thinking Gouldjg would need some one test missions for each specific year. For instance, 1939, 41, 43, 45... Something like that.

Each of those missions would have to have the same amount of DDs, whether it'd be 2, 3, or 4 or whatever. Also, the DDs should be the same class throghout each test. The only difference should be the year version of the DD.

They'd have to be protecting valuable cargo, a carrier or a battleship of some sort.

The player u-boat would have to be identical for each test. Use a Type VIIC perhaps. This doesn't really matter anyways. At the single mission screen, you can choose which sub you want to command.

Put the u-boat as submerged at periscope depth.

Locations would have to be identical for each mission. Either begin inside or outside of the convoy. I think you should start inside.

I don't think long/lat location really matters. Just do the test more out in the open seas rather than by land.



It's all just a guess... It really depends on what Gouldjg wants. :yep:

Actually Marhkimov, I was just responding to Gouldjg's request for 1 mission with 4 Destroyers. Late war to north,early war to south,mid range to the east and an Elite to the west.
I placed the player boat in the center @ 20m depth and stuck the above mentioned ships at the 4 locations running a loop pattern approx 15-20 km from player. This gives the player the option of heading towards any ship he desires knowing the different capabilities of each. I have no problem whipping something else up but i need some guidance here.
