Running trough Gibraltor

Could anyone give me advice as to how to run through the staits of Gibraltor on the Gauntlet mission? I keep getting creamed by those Englanders! Damn Churchill!

Hug the African coast, going dead slow and silent at persicope depth, watching both the scope and your hydrophone. If you absolutely have to surface to recharge batteries and/or get some air, make sure there's nothing in range, surface and flank it.

Just make sure you stick as far south as you can.
