Should I install the weapons mod?

Hi,
I jsut wanted to know what vesion are most guys here using?
Is it the latest official patch, or the Weapons Mod which seems to be pretty common around here?

Did anyone encounter particular problems with the mod?

I would go ahead an give the mod a shot. It's so easy to remove, that compatibility with people who aren't using it just isn't a problem. It takes about 5 seconds to remove or re-install it.

Just make copies of your database and doctrine folders and put them somewhere safe, so you can copy and paste them back when you want to remove the mod. The mod actually includes a script now that will do that for you, just remember if you're going to use this script, run the backup BEFORE installing the mod.

If Im learning the game I might as well learn it in the realistic way.
