I'm looking at some AGP cards for my cousin. He got Black & White 2 and couldn't play the game because he only has onboard video. I'm trying to stay under $100. It is SAPPHIRE ULTIMATE RADEON 9600XT Radeon 9600XT 128MB 128-bit DDR AGP 4X/8X Video Card - Retail on NewEgg. I'm not too familiar with the AGP cards. It seems pretty beefy with a Core Clock of 500 MHz and a Memory Clock of 600 MHz. That should run B&W 2 pretty good, shouldn't it?

That card is no longer beefy but will probably handle the game on low settings. The same card is $52 on pricewatch. So if you do want it, save yourself some cash, cuz it looks like NewEgg wants $88 for it according to pricewatch. Wait, your link says $95. Hmmmm pricewatch has newegg selling it for $88, what's that all about? Anyways...

If it were me, I'd spend a little more and get the 9800 Pro at the very least. You can get a 9800 pro for $119 on pricewatch. Within a year that 9600 will fall too far behind and he'll be looking for a new card, yet again.

I kind of like the Radeons better than Geforce, but I'll give them a look too being this card isn't for me.

Yeah that's a decent card. The brand name isn't the greatest though. Let me correct myself, I've never dealt with Jetway so I can't verify it's quality or service.

Thanks, I will do some more checking out. I can't I dislike looking at computer hardware. It is kind of relaxing. It's the software I hate... :damn:
