Hello,

I'm wondering if it's possible to find a commercial naval simulation, something equivalent to "train simulator" or "flight simulator", but for naval world ...

I'd like to experiment cruising on a car-ferry, a cargo, tanker, tug, and do the manouvers of such boats ...

thanks in advance, if you can help me finding this sort of software, if it exists, but I doubt.

!!!Bathtime Tug!!!

This Tug Boat is "Unsinkable" , it has a wide beam

to take the roughest seas (or splashes) and stay afloat

It's one of the only toys that we carry thats made of

Pine (so it floats like a cork) and is assembled with an epoxy glue

and sealed with a waterproof Polyurathane finish so your

kids will get waterlogged long before this boat does !

It comes in your choice of these waterproof colors

Red , Blue , Green or Yellow

I attend a school that has one of those big, 120 degree field of view, tons of buttons and dials and light simulators... And it's also pretty disappointing. Darn thing keeps bugging up. :-D

Commercial vessels are, face it, boring to conn. The aim is to get from point A to point B... Except for the manoeuvring at either end (Something practically no desktop software can aptly simulate) there just isn't much interest.

Play tetris, go throw some rope, then go stare at a filled bathtub for a week, before throwing some ropes again. That's a pretty realistic commercial vessel simulator...

The only thing's missing is ISPS and ISM... Mmm... I got it! Fill your tax returns while you're staring at the bathtub! :rotfl:
