This is probably my favorite type of classic game. I remember playing Arkanoid long ago. Ever since I have been hooked on these types of games. It seems most you have to pay for. I think some are worth it, but most are not. Depends on what you like. Probably the best payware version of this type is called Ricochet. It has really good graphics, really cool levels, and you can download hoards more levels freely. There is even an editor so you can make your own. If you're interested here is the site:

If you're not into the payware scene there is a free Arkanoid clone that is top notch. It has 120 levels, and great music. The graphics are good, too. It is called Beat Ball. There are two versions to download. One is 32MB. This has music and higher-res graphics. The other is 4MB. It has no music and lower-res graphics. I found this game quite a while ago. Definately worth the download.

I used to be a grerat fan of Ark, etc back on my C64 :)
