First of all I don't know if it is possible what I'm going to ask about

1. Make it possible, so I can I pick one ship in a group of ships e.g SAG, CVBG etc and turn it's radar on ?

I know from real life(my time in the Swedish Navy. One of the warship turned its radar on and provide information to the rest of the group)

Wished:

Is it possible to get a unit to ID an unknown unit.

E.g I want my F-18 to id an unknown flying target

Eguipt a fighter jet/plane so it can perform reconnaissance tasks

E.g Have to do some reconnaissance around an area where I think the enemy could have military stuff.

Hi Marcus,

This is already possible. Switch to unit-view, select the desired unit and bring up its sensors window, then manipulate the sensors as desired. Just remember, if later you enforce an EMCON change on the entire group, when it asks you "override any per-unit settings?" to select no, in order to preserve this specific setting.

Yes. Select the F-18, set its WCS doctrine setting to "do not fire" (this is per target domain [air/sea/underwater/land] so select the appropriate one) and then simply order it to auto-attack the target. It will manouver to engage but not actually fire a weapon.

Yes. Select the desired aircraft, fit it with an appropriate recon loadout (or trust the Mk1 Eyeball if nothing else is available), and assign it to a support mission. You can precisely specify the recon flight course via refpoints, and also customize the throttle and altitude settings as you wish.

Thanks.
