version question

I am looking at amazon and see that there is the normal wolves of the pacific and also the gold version with the U boat missions.
I don't care for the U boats but in reading the description is also says--


"The U-boat Missions add-on features new strategic elements, new playable submarines, an improved navigation map, and an improved upgrade system. It also upgrades the engine to version 1.5"


so my question is other than the u boat missions is there a difference between the two?

Get the 'Gold Edition' with U-boat missions.

A lot of bugs were fixed, and almost all the recent mods are made for v1.5. I have never played the U-boat missions, but wouldn't want to go back to a stock, pre- v1.5 version of SH4. The mega-mods (which require v1.5) really make the game.
