Time travel

I was wondering if anyone else has had this experience? I travel back in time with Silent Hunter 4 (TMO 2-5). On completing my mission I enter Harbour on 22nd May 1944 ( USS Tuna SS203) and am given a new mission to E3 on leaving harbour the date has changed to July 1st 1942. Very frustrating to say the least.

That is a common problem, you need the TMO2.5 Small Patch. Another problem you will have without the Patch is you will never be promoted out of your Tambor Class boat. You may have to start a new career.

Yeah some do not feel the need for the small patch on TMO but it does do some good like in this instance.

Many forget that one issue can lead to several other things occurring and this patch is good for alleviating several of them.

If you are indeed running TMO 2.5, then you do need the small patch. It fixes a few small bugs.

Thanks for the information about the patch I will give it a try. It's good to be back after being away from SH for almost two years. The information I have gained from here has helped me enormously. Thank you all and especially the modders who make SH so much more enjoyable.
