Hi all.
How to change visibility under water in this mod?
I like high visibility like in SH5, what should i change in scene file?
I had Silent editor is that enough?

Please help.

I used these settings from Webster's 300 Underwater Visibility mod:

6: Node -Sky\8: EnvData\9: EnvData\Underwater\Fog

ZMin = -4.0
ZMax = 91.5

If i adjust that in TMO, will it affect escort's ability to spot me submerged?

Great question!

I would ask on the TMO thread actually. Duci stops by from time to comment and he might see your question. Or someone else who uses TMO and may have modded the clarity of the water may answer.

In short "No" It just lets you see better under water. Indy

Change stuff like that in TMO to your peril. It is a delicate balance, easily upset. Real water clarity is more often terrible than great anyway and the game does a decent job of reflecting that. Don't confuse anything SH5 with realistic, SH5 is not a simulator, it's a video game. Care for some soup?:D

That setting won't cause you any problem with TMO, cept maybe planes might get a tad better visuals on you, but so many other settings come into play that I've never had a problem adjusting underwater fog that it seemed to have any effect on visuals.

Water clarity has exactly zero effect on the AI sensors. It's just asthetic, the game doesnt look at water clarity at all in terms of "Do i see the player or not?".

Settings for wave mechanics, fog states, lighting, wind speed, effect the AI.

edit: Plane's detecting the player underwater is not a function of water clarity. Its a function of using a negative surface factor on a visual sensor. Water clarity is adjusted in this instance, for reasons of suspension of disbelief. IE, It doesnt make any sense a plane seeing you, if you couldn't see the submerged object yourself.
