I'm back with a new question .

sometimes when i come close to shore's i spot a friendly marker with the name survivor .

what's the deal on this ? are they crashed airplane pilots ? can you pick them up ?

What version of SH4 are you using and/or what mods? I think survior markers only come from downed allied planes, and you can usally pick them up. Dont know why there would be surviors near the shoreline for no reason but.... anyways I dont think you get any renwon for saving them, and Ive only ever seen them on lifeguard missions.

i dont use any mods , only version 1.4

Normally if you see a downed allied pilot you'll see the pink smoke from his flare.

Often planes crash over land, a strange bug is the pilots often bail and the land seems to have water values, simply they float on land usually to the water, always moving, happens a lot near Rabaul.

in your perticular version your map will only display the last known position of the pilot and no pink smoke. You should update with a mod like RSRD or TMO.....i noticed that same scenario and i never saw the pink smoke and it irritated the **** outta me getting those missions with a stock 1.4 version of the game....so i got 1.5 and TMO and it became a whole lot simpler with visiual plumes of smoke.
