With the current state of affairs with Britain it is expected that hostilities
can happen at any time. Intell has reported that between Sept. 3 - 7 of sep.
a large build up of cargo traffic in grids AN5559/AN5541/AN5545.
Please patrol those grids and advise of activity.
If hostilty takes place with Britain you are clear to engage all enemy shipping.
You are free to engage any Polish shipping at opportunity
Please use caution as that area has shallow waters and may be mined.

Intelligence also reports there to be a convoy in patrol grid AN4199 heading NNE023 on December 17th. Your orders are to patrol BE58 for 24 hours, and then patrol at your discretion. Fuel is good. 10 ships confirmed sunk. 1 Battleship has slowly list behind convoy, but having to abandon observation to shadow convoy.

I noticed my orders read 17 NOV 42, though im currently in 39 -- also, orders requested on 17NOV were prior to servicing the uboote [tacked on a few weeks when i exited port :dead:] -- it is now 04 DEC 39 -- am in no rush, will stand by

Intelligence reports a convoy will be passing through AM94 heading SSW10 on December 10th, if at all possible head at flank and engage convoy. There is also a report of a Small convoy in AM34 heading East, and will arrive on about December 14th. Lastly there is a 9 merchent, 1 sub, and two destroyer convoy expected to arive on December 17th, heading NNE203 in patrol grid AN41. Good Hunting!
