Some thoughts for your review.
Patrols should run for three months. At the end of the patrol period an award will be issued to the Sub Commander who has the highest tons sunk for the patrol period.
There will be four awards for the year.
I think we should keep the flotilla as simple as possible but still maintain some historical aspects.

Enigma commander (Bdu - nogoodlandlubber)
Chief of Staff
Chief of Operations (Laufen)
Chief of Research & development
Let's consider deleating all stickies on our forum and only have three threads - From Bdu/To Bdu/Open thread.
The to Bdu and from Bdu threads should be in German using the Google translator. The open thread must be in english.
The Chief of Operations will use Canovaro's OS convoy contact map to assign U-Boots to hot hunting grids.
All operational messages will be sent and received through the Enigma machine. The Enigma machine we are now using may have too high of a learning curve for some players. I recommend that we use a simple java based enigma simulator that works with any browser and can be used with Windows, Mac & iPad. I have one in mind.
All position reports should utilize the Krigsmarine grid system (AB4022).
This memo is not a change in nogoods procedure and is intended to generate ideas only.

As Far as I know Yes, but for sure perhaps you could ask inside the Magui thread and someone expert with this gui could give you a better answaer.
check this channel as we are going to recruit as many kaleun as we can to start a fresh campaign.

I have absoultly no knowlage of how this is going to work, like do we somehow set up the dates of when we patrol to be the dates listed in the few posts above me? Like I would leave port on the date said kinda thing. I am very confused lol.

I looked through them and it seems interesting; the PDF too, which leads me to a question -
In the PDF it says you're not allowed a WO. I've never played with no weapon officer. What's the difference between manual targeting and no weapon officer? I've no interest in manual targeting at this moment you see.
And when are you all planning on starting?

If you use WO you can let him gives the fire solution without using either peri or uzo while if you use autotargetting you must observe the target ship althougt you dont have to enter the data.
I hope we can start the campaign in 2 or 3 weeks, the most important thing once i finish the guideline which i hope i could do it NeXT week is the prper use of enigma simulator for transmissions.

A curiosity. How you manage the game?
You rely on the positions reported by the commanders and verified it with the mission editor by opening the file of the original campaign to direct attacks? :hmmm:
