The old site killflags.net's domain name expired and some jerk is now holding it hostage... (if I catch him, he'll be on permanent anchor duty for a channel marker. :arrgh!:

Files have been uploaded ( that i thankfully saved to an old Harddrive )

Thank you! NOTHING, not TMO, not subnuclear Mark 14s and Cuties, not RSRD, none of them added more to my enjoyment of SH4 more than my kill flags and conning tower.:D

Now that I have the boat of my dreams...I remember way back in the forums that there was a way to get my orders and dispatches sent to the choosen boat...As I remember I had to fiddle in the data and/or career save files...Can anyone help me out a bit on that?...SK

So now the site is back up can I update my kill rate or lack of it? I did notice that my file is still there when you hit the update button?

I could not find your skin I made so here is a pic on what I made. The problem is it has been so long since I made skins I do not remember how to make a folder to easily install them. Hopefully I can get help on that part. Any ways here's a screen shot of the skin I made you.

Three things 1. The file Does not belong to me. 2. I will have to make it into a PSD as the one I have is not a psd file. 3. Where can I upload a psd file?

My apologies, Gryphon... I thought you might have the original PSD file - I had it once and lost it. You were speaking of "reposting the files" - so I assumed (know what happens then) you had access to the contents of the old site - battleflags.us. My bad.

I will recreate what I can and then share gladly. I pretty much have everything but the pennants in Japanese ship kills/damaged. Seems like the original PSD also had a BB and CV marking for the Rising Sun...

lemme see what I can do. Thanks for the response!

The "cannot find server" messages on your site made me literally laugh out loud. :D

I just changed my whole install over to try out RFB+RSRD and started a new campaign, so it's probably a good time to get started on a flag. Great concept.

Thanks! I'm in the USS Pickerel (SS-177). Already installed the skin with the black paintjob and the Pickerel's logo on the tower.

I've been reading up a little bit on this boat. It's sobering to know that the real Pickerel was lost with all hands... and nobody knows exactly when or where. Japanese records describe several ASW operations in her last known general area, so one of those must have got her. The boat will most likely never be found.

I started reading some of the patrol reports. The Pickerel seemed not to have too many duds, but made up for it with a never-ending streak of premature explosions. Attack after attack was spoiled by torpedoes exploding only a few seconds after they were fired. The Captain's anger comes through clearly even in the carefully professional reports. It's fascinating reading.
