Anyone who has an idea in the minimal realism settings for our games please post your comments here.
I would like to suggest all marking checked except;
No stabilize view
You can check or uncheck these options (own choice)
No Map Contact Update
No Event Camera
No External View
No Weapons Officer Assitance
Any other suggestions are welcome.

I've played at 100% for a long time, but recently started playing at 94%, using optional help from my weapons officer. I use his info to plot and enter all info in manual TDC during my attack. I've found it very enjoyable this way. I've never needed the optic stabilization though I admit the UZO is easier to use in that respect.
Oh, I use the 'no fatigue' model in SH3 CO., leaving my stations manned at all times. They sleep when I sleep :)

I normally play at 77% realism
Im not as hard core as smilinicon's 100%

I think mine comes to 90% -- I have everything checked except for:
No stabilize view
No Map Contact Update (I could probably live without this, but just lazy)
No Event Camera (I just can't resist watching the eels hit!)
My SH3 rules include:
Random crush depth
Crew transfers
Realistic crew
Malfunctions and Sabotage "on"
8 hour fatigue model
After the first cruise, all officers and warrant officers are given a qualification
I also add a few personal rules myself:
No raising periscope at speeds above 3 knots
Reload torpedoes only when submerged and level
Only steam torps can be stored in external stores
Loading torpedoes from external stores can only occur in daylight in rather calm seas (i.e., if I can't man the deck gun, I can't reload from the externals). During this time, I don't exceed 3 knots nor submerge until the entire operation is complete.
Try to minimize time on surface during very rough weather (don't want my crew to get washed away!)
Deck gun is only for finishing off wounded targets -- I'm not a battleship
AA gun is a weapon of last resort -- if I can dive when aircraft are sighted, I dive. If damage or loading externals keeps me from diving, only then will I duke it out with aircraft.
I use the lifeboats mod, so if I sink a lone ship, I'll surface and offer help to the survivors

I usually run on 100% but I am thinking of giving stabilize view a try...
As far as SHCommander is concerned, I do like the 8 hour fatigue mode. Crew management should be a MUST in a sim of this kind, (reason why I am still playing SH3 instead of SH5).... I DO like playing with dolls!! :O:

BTW, I didn't see it mentioned here, but everyone is using GWX, right?

GWX here - just added the Kiel canal mod and it is beautiful.
Sh3 commander
SH3 weather
94% realism (info not used for aiming torps). I can do 100% no probs, if needed.
duds, malfuntions, sabotage all on.
I also use most all the self-imposed limits mentioned above, but then if I have read about a real sub doing something, I will do it in the sim.
Last few days I have been redoing all my voice commands to German. It is gutte that you cant hear it. :-?
