the weather is against me!

In concurrence with BDU orders from back then, I keep radio silence until reaching my station.

However. I am not even sure I can make it to the US east coast.. :shifty: Thanks to the weather.

I left Lorient on Christmas eve and made good headway until roughly January the third. That's when the weather changed, and, hot damn... on a couple of days I made less than 100km/day, and on most of them roughly 170km.

For hours my spd is zero... yes ZERO (0) knots, and to make any headway at all, I have to dive and travel underwater. Surfacing every 12 hours for some time to recharge the batteries and replenish the air.

With a speed like that I will be off New York in roughly 3 Weeks (~2500km to go) .. :nope: and maybe have enough fuel to stay on station for another week before I have to turn around and RTB.
