I saw that kit awhile ago. Would be damn interesting to put it into a wodden Enigma mock up case.. hehe
I remember that Woddy was working on his own Enigma mock up. Wonder how far he got with this. :hmmm:

Sweet.. let us know if it compatible with the software we use. It should be, though

I can't test that, the D-connector is optional and was not in the kit.
For as far as I can understand now, I don't see the benefit of hooking it up with a PC.
But who knows......

You shouldn't need to hook it up to a PC to test the Enigma E. According to their site, it will run on it's own, and the connection to a PC is optional. :hmmm:

I have read that, but I fail to see the benefit of that.
Or what extra´s it will give.
The enigma works pretty smooth.
Try to upload some pictures soon

I was wondering the same..
I meant if it is compatible, if you decode message that where encoded with the software we use, and vice versa.. :D
How long did it take you to assemble the kit, btw?

took a college of mine three hours.
He has some experience with soldering.
He says it is pretty easy to assemble and that it is a very nice and high quality PCB

It is fully compatible.
I´ve encoded a message with the simulator and decoded it with the enigma e
and vice versa.
works fine. (just a bit slower ;))
