CTD upon entering hydrophone station. (Playing multiplayer after installing with JGSME).

Edit: Repeatable by two players.

This has been reported on multiple maps by multiple players / hosts. I believe we have found a legit bug in the netcode that needs addressing by the devs.

This does not occur in single player.

I have not experienced that bug, but it would explain why the host suddenly left the game.

CTD via clicking the Hydrophone in MP is one bonafide bug ;(

Can you guys confirm (that have had the hydrophone CTD) whether or not you were using the no bubble mod?

Just curious because I had the same problem removed this mod and havent been able to reproduce the problem since.

OK - YES, somehow there is a mistake in the map that leads to CTD when using Hydrophone, theres np in stock maps.

I am looking into this.

I have uploaded a fixed map.

It no longer crashes to desktop when using Hydrophone.

I tinkered around last night with the map and my best guess is that the AI SUBMARINES added to the convoy are the problem. Once removed no more problems. This bug only happens when there is more than one player submarine on the map, I guess when the hydrophone picks up multiple sub contacts its not able to work via the hydrophone and crashes.

Wow what a mess that is! Something to consider. I will make note of it in your other generic Multiplayer for SH5 thread
